In light of the recent 2024 TV interview with WOWT 6 News station, we have moved the original 2017 interview to this blog post for those who would like to see more of the Jean Jackson Foundation story and an the foundation's initial hopes and dreams.

We feel blessed to have had this coverage to share more about Jean Jackson and the Children With Strength.

We are now underway with the 2024 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Although there are many games to be played to determine who will be the two teams in the Championship weekend, there is no doubt that the Jean Jackson Foundation will be bringing two people who have never stepped foot in Omaha to join the College World Series family—GG and her mother, Emily Ontiveros.

Georgia Grace Ontiveros (aka GG) came to the attention of Corey and Melissa Jackson after they befriended a police officer named Louie who coached children at The Boys and Girls Club. It was a serendipitous discovery that Corey knew a friend of Louie's named Jeff Ontiveros, who was the father of GG. Tragically, two weeks after this realization, Jeff died from health complications at the mere age of 43 years old. Corey knew that we would one day honor Jeff through GG.
