The Jean Jackson Foundation, founded by Corey & Melissa Jackson, will enable a child, who is 8-13 years old and has lost one or both parents, to receive an all-expense paid trip to the College World Series with their guardian or other living parent.
Despite the delays and the pandemic, we still hope to bring the first child to the CWS in 2024.
The long-term hope is that each child will not feel alone; as Corey knows deeply what it is like to lose so much early in life. Plus, over the years, each child will have the opportunity to become part of a growing community of these children. Omaha reunions with all of these children is a long-term goal. JJF plans on partnering with local businesses, a designated hotel, and a designated airline. Donations are intended solely for the JJF Kids and are not-for-profit.
The Jean Jackson Foundation is a tax-exempt private foundation per the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). Donations are tax-deductible under IRC Section 170.
